Selling your Home

As we move into 2023 the housing market has started to slow down somewhat, from the frenetic times of last year.

Sure, there is still a housing shortage of properties but the constantly increasing interest rates have slowed the purchasing process.

It seems unlikely that interest rates will drop to below 4% again for some time.

Hopefully they won’t rise much above 8% either!

Buyers are beginning to have more time to make decisions as well as asking for various concessions.

Hopefully gone are the waving of inspections – which allow for an independent evaluation of the property.

If you are selling a home this means that it is more important for it to be well presented.

Tidy, good condition homes will be more desirable and likely to sell quicker.
